About The Pilot
My name is Andrew Brown and I am an FAA part 107 licensed and NCDOT certified drone pilot. I have completed Drone courses through the Sun Valley High School Aviation Academy and medaled at the North Carolina SkillsUSA Drone Pilot competition. My love for drones and my love for entrepreneurship have met in the middle with Carolina Drone Services. I hope to supply organizations from all over the Carolinas with unique drone footage and to use my love of drones to push this amazing technology into the future. I am familiar with drone maintenance and mechanics as well as necessary photography skills and video production skills. I believe that I am the perfect choice for anybody looking to receive videos or photos from an aerial view!
Location
Currently, we are based in Indian Trail, NC, and will service the Union County and Charlotte Meck areas (services can be requested outside of these areas for a possible additional travel fee). However, we will soon be moving to Greenville, SC in August as our pilot will be attending university. Appointments in Charlotte will still be available on an occasional basis.
Our Drone
In order to take high quality images and videos we will be flying our drone, "Airy1". "Airy1" is a DJI Air 2S. The Air 2S will shoot 5.4k videos and 20MP photos. The Air 2S is a reliable drone made by a reliable and trusted manufacturer.
Safety
When flyng a drone, safety is the #1 most important factor. Our pilot is well equiped with the knowledge and resources necessary to operate in the safest manner possible. Carolina Drone Services adhears to all FAA and NCDOT regulations. Our DJI Air 2S is also equipted with advanced obstacle avoidance technology to further ensure maximum safety.
